This is my booth looking straight into it. They spelled my name wrong so they will get me a new sign tomorrow. I started setting up around 9:30 this morning and ended about 1. I needed to go to Walmart and get a couple more baskets. I do have 2 bins underneath the tables with more fabric in it. They also had my tables wrong when I first got there so they had to bring me new ones. When they brought the new ones the tables weren't draped so I had them sent back and bring me 2 more with the skirting on it. Hopefully things will go smoothly tomorrow. I did walk around a little today and saw one other booth with handdyes but nothing like mine. The booth next to me sells stained glass patterns and a few kits.

I thought I would start my first blog about my handdyes, quilting, family and just my crazy life.
I'm heading to Schaumburg, IL for my first show. I'm going to be a vendor at The Greater Chicago Quilt Expo! I'm really nervous but at the same time excited. I hope I do well. I'm taking with me almost 1000 yards of fabric, patterns and handdyed scarves. That's right 1000 yards!!! The show is a Mancuso show and runs for 4 days, Nov 8-11. I have to be there on the 7th to set up.

Here's a picture of the back of the pickup truck with everything ready to go. My dh says there is room for one more small bin. HMMM, no its time to go. I sure hope I didn't forget anything
