clothesline and vest

This vest is the one I started probably 2 weeks ago before my grandson ended up in the hospital and I had the three others for 3 days. Anyways it is now done and I can wear it at the show next week It's made from all snowdyed fabric..

This is what my clothesline looked this morning. This is the last of the 90 yards of snowdyed fabric I dyed the past 5 days. I am now all ready to go to the next two shows. This is probably the last of the fabric I will be dyeing this year. Yeap I said this year. The next week and a half I will be vending and home for a short time before I'm off to Festival in Houston. I'm not vending there just attending to see all the beautiful quilts and whats new and exciting out there. Right after Houston I will be having surgery on my elbow so I will have quite a long rehab time. I'm shooting to start dyeing again after the first of the year.

Madison, Justin,vest

We made it to Madison yesterday. It sure is a lot cooler here then at home. We will get set up today and the show starts tomorrow. There wasn't any road construction until we hit 90 just outside of Rockford, IL.

I didn't get the vest finished since I had my grandkids all weekend. Baby Justin had blood in his diaper so mom took him to Children's hospital on Saturday. He had surgery on Monday the hole going from his stomach into his small intestines wasn't large enough they fixed that and he isn't spitting up anymore and he is eating well and is now home and doing great. I will get the vest finished maybe next week when we get back.

More later about the show.
