I'm home

We left Des Moines yesterday morning and got home in the mid afternoon. We got the van unloaded and all the laundry done. Then it was time to relax a little. Today was the usual grocery shopping and all the running I needed to get done.

For those of you who have never been to a quilt show before here are a few pictures of what it was like.

Vendors waiting for the crowd.

The attendees/vendors waiting in line for their morning coffee.

The entrance and some waiting to get in.

A slow start.

Here they come!!!

  1. It looks huge Judi, sad that it was so slow. There is a sewing/needlecraft festival this coming week/weekend in Toronto. They have it in the spring and in the fall. I want to go so will compare and see how many attend with the economy being poorer although I don't think a slow economy is hitting Canadians as hard even though our dollar is down.
