I had a great time at retreat this past weekend. I didn't work on the retreat project but choose to work on some miniatures I had at home. Here is a picture of Jo Morton critiquing a color combination and also how 4 blocks look together when only using 4 colors. It took a gal an entire hour to figure out how to cut and piece her blocks. There is actually only 2 combinations of colors but it looked wonderful. Jo showed us a lot of her quilts that will be in her next book. She did let us take pictures but asked us not to post on the internet for about a month or so until her new book comes out.

Here are pictures of the 4 miniature quilts I got done this past weekend at retreat. As I said they are miniatures.

I have only two short weeks to get ready for the Paducah show. I went to Kansas City today to get some fixtures/wall boards for my booth and some more batiks. I will be really busy the next few weeks but will try to post some pictures of fabric that I dye for this show. I'm glad to be back home once again.
The minis are very pretty...what luck to go to a retreat with Jo Morton.
