Memorial weekend

This young male deer graced us with his presence yesterday morning. The deer never come this close to the house.
The kids had fun making necklaces with the huge box of beads.

We took the kids to the beach. There is a local establishment that hauled white sand all the way from Florida, it sure makes you feel like you are somewhere exotic instead of at the Lake here in MO. they swam, Trevor played volleyball and they had a good time.

Trevor took a ride in the gator and came home with this turtle. He was so proud of it, I had him put it on the ground and I took them for a ride in the gator and by the time we got back it was gone.
We all had a good time but the kids have to go home to their mom today.
