trading spaces and fractured rainbow

This is a quilt that I have been working on and finally got it finished today. It is called fractured rainbow and now I need to figure out how to quilt it. If anyone has ideas I'm open for anything but stitch in the ditch.
As I told you the other day I was working on something called trading spaces. Here are all the pieces grouped together and then individually. I really like the way these turned out and will have them for sale at my next show.

  1. Really nice Judi. I love the quilt and I'm trying to figure out exactly how you did the fabric. Several ideas come to mind but I'm not sure.

  2. Wow! That is all so stunning. I can't imagine the time that your quilt must have taken and the colors are so vibrant! Wow! Almost speechless...not easy to do.

  4. Judi,
The quilt is stunning. How about one like Linda Taylor's Feather Meandering, it is my favorite standby. It has lots of curves and that quilt has lots of straight lines and angles. I don't remember if you have the computerized machine.
Love the trading spaces fabric, esp. the last one. What a super background piece.

the fabrics are AWESOME! They would make great skies!
I'm not sure about quilting ideas.
I wouldn't want to stitch in the ditch either. Good Luck at your next show!

  6. wow, I love those fabrics!!! Just gorgeous. You've been busy! The quilt is stunning. Not sure how I'd quilt it, but probably some sort of all-over curvy design to compliment all the straight lines and angles. Looking forward to see what you decide!
