rusted fabric and speciality fabrics

These are a few of the pieces I worked on yesterday, I used the trading places technique on them.








This is a 2 yard piece of rusted fabric. My grandkids helped me put it around our burn barrel. I really like the way this piece turn out.

    Hmmm...I don't have a burn barrel, but the neighbors do! I wonder what they would say if I wrapped it in fabric?

    Looks like you have been very busy Judi.
    The trading places fabrics are great and the burn barrel piece is wonderful.
    Now that is one thing I would never have thought of using. I would just have to make sure the guys didn't burn anything in it while the fabric was doing its thing. What a fun idea.
