We survived the storms this morning. We had tornado warnings and severe thunderstorms once again. We wanted to get an early start this morning we need to be in Ohio on Wednesday morning and Marc wanted to take his time driving and see some of the sites. Well it was raining so hard this morning we couldn't get the truck loaded with suitcases and coolers until the rain subsided. We had about 4 inches of rain from 5 to 8 this morning. we finally got on the road and decided we needed to drop some stuff off at my daughter's well that took longer then anticipated. We were finally on the road and then about a half hour down the road we have a blow out. Now these tires are fairly new, we purchased them in FEB 2007 and they had only 13,000 miles on them. Now to get the tire off and the spare from under the truck. A couple of guys must of seen us sitting on the side of the road and came to our rescue. These guys are fish farmers from Ozark Fish Hatcheries thanks guys. They said this was their area of the road to patrol. We were lucky they came along since cell phones don't work in this area. They had that tire off and the spare on in less then 15 minutes and on the road we were once again.
It took 3 guys to figure out where to put the jack.
It took two guys to get the spare tire on.
Gosh, Judi, that didn't look very good. Glad Marc was able to get over to the side without any problem. I think I would take that one back. Hope the rest of your travels are uneventful.
